Let us tell you that this season there was a lot of discussion about the strike rate of the 35-year-old. During this period, some big controversies were seen, in which the Kohli-Gavaskar controversy was also included. Where Sunil Gavaskar had targeted Virat's statement in which Kohli had scolded the commentator and advised him not to talk about the game while sitting in the box. Now once again the right-handed batsman has talked about the strike rate. After playing an excellent inning, Virat made a big statement while talking to the broadcaster.

He said, “It was very important for me to keep the strike rate right (laughs). I was just concentrating on scoring runs with the same pace. It was a difficult period after Rajat Patidar was out and due to rain there was a slight break in our run rate. Once I was completely settled, I knew that now big shots would have to be played. The wicket was dry from below and had grass on top. That's why the ball was swinging a little in the beginning.”

In this match against Punjab, Kohli faced 47 balls and scored 92 runs with the help of 7 fours and 6 sixes. His strike rate during this innings was 195.74. Although he missed scoring his century, he gave a good start to his team and played an important role in reaching the big score. Batting first in this match, RCB scored 241 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.
