On Wednesday, June 5, Rohit Sharma’s Team India will kick off their T20 World Cup campaign with a match against Ireland at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. Prior to the tournament, the Indian squad will face Bangladesh in a warm-up game on Saturday, June 1.
The majority of the squad has arrived in New York and started preparations for the upcoming competition. Notably, former India captain Virat Kohli has not yet joined the team.
India are ok Group A along with Ireland, Pakistan, USA, and Canada. Following their opening game against Ireland, India will take on their fierce rivals Pakistan on June 9 at the same venue.
