Keeping this in mind, the New York Police is also fully alert and is making tight security arrangements. In this match, terrorists had threatened to attack, due to which the police is also looking alert now. According to a report by ESPN Cricinfo, the Governor's office has confirmed that there is no threat to the match. Commissioner Rider has given a big statement on this.
He said, “When you have such a big game and such a big crowd, everything has to be reliable. When it comes to security in Nassau County, we will pay attention to every little thing. I can guarantee you that this is the biggest security in the history of the county. Apart from this, I can also guarantee you that the safest place on the day of the match on June 9 will be inside the stadium itself.”
Let us tell you that keeping security in mind, on the day of the match, the nearby Eisenhower Park will be closed for the general public from morning till evening. Things like bags and drones will not be allowed inside the ground. Apart from this, parking facility will be provided there only on VIP tickets. Some separate arrangements will be made for the rest of the people. Police will continuously patrol both on land and in the air so that no mistake is made and this match can be conducted successfully.
