However, former Australian captain Michael Clarke has pointed out the big weakness of Team India and has given a big warning to captain Rohit Sharma. He said, I think India has taken a risk with the team it has selected. This team is very dependent on spin, which is completely different from the Australian team. However, I have also played in the Caribbean countries and my experience is that it depends on how you play spin in those conditions. India is the strongest contender to win the World Cup and it is a big threat to other teams.

The former Australian player further said, “If we look at the most favourite teams for the World Cup, it is India. They have played a lot of cricket recently and their preparation has been excellent. The conditions in the West Indies are quite different compared to India but their players are familiar with it.”
