Team India's schedule is very busy
The Indian team will participate in the T20 World Cup from June 2. This mega event will be played till June 29. After this, Team India will tour Zimbabwe, where they have to play a 5-match T20 series. After Zimbabwe, Indian players will go to Sri Lanka at the end of July. Here a series of 3 ODIs and as many T20 International matches will be played between the two countries.
Bangladesh cricket team will again come to India in September-October. Here they will play a series of 2 Tests and 3 T20 International matches.
There will also be a clash with New Zealand and Australia
After Bangladesh, the New Zealand cricket team will also come to India and play a 3-match Test series. After this, Team India's much-awaited Australia tour will begin. Here, a 5-match Test series will be played between the two countries in November – December – January, which is also known as the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Even after this tour, the Indian team will not get rest and they have to host the England cricket team in a series of 3 ODIs and 5 T20 matches.
Champions Trophy in Pakistan
After the round of bilateral series is over, the Champions Trophy 2025 is to be played in Pakistan in February-March. Team India has also qualified for this. But it will be worth seeing whether the Indian team goes to Pakistan to participate in this mega event or not. If media reports are to be believed, BCCI has agreed to hold all the matches of Team India in Lahore. So that in case of any untoward incident, the Indian players can be brought back safely and quickly.
