T20 World Cup 2024 Past Winners: The 2024 edition of the ICC T20 World Cup will begin in June. 16 warm-up matches will be played in 17 countries from May 27 to June 1. Cricket is making a big comeback in North America through the T20 World Cup. The upcoming season of the ICC T20 World Cup will be co-hosted by USA and former champions West Indies.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the practice schedule for the T20 World Cup on May 16. Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, Queen's Park Oval and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago will host 16 warm-up matches ahead of the T20 World Cup. A total of 17 teams will participate in the practice match. South Africa will play an intra-squad match in Florida.

* The ninth edition of the 20-over tournament will be played from June 1 to 29.

* 20 teams will participate in this tournament and they have been divided into four groups.

– Teams from each group will play each other once in a round robin format. A win is worth two points and a tie or draw is worth one point each.

– The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super 8, where they will be divided into two groups of four each and play each other in a round robin format.

– The top two teams from each Super 8S group will advance to the semi-finals.

– Matches are being played in nine stadiums including six in West Indies and three in America.
