Gautam Gambhir will most probably coach Team India after the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has almost finalized his name, according to a report. The announcement will be made soon by the apex body of the Indian cricket.
According to a report from Cricbuzz, Gambhir’s hiring is inevitable. A renowned owner of an IPL franchise told the website that Gambhir’s signing is a done deal and uhe announcement will be made soon.
However, Gambhir is mum on the development and even the players of KKR haven’t revealed anything.
Jay Shah, the secretary of the BCCI, recently spoke about the hiring process of the head coach. He further added that preference will be given to a person, who has the knowledge of the Indian domestic cricket and its structure.
Gambhir has worked as a mentor with Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League.
