Lucknow: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) lost to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the final match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Hyderabad's batting proved to be a flop in this match, whereas they had defeated the opponents on the basis of batting throughout this season. However, due to poor batting in the final, they could not win their second title. After losing the match, Hyderabad co-owner and CEO Kavya Maran was seen encouraging her team players in the dressing room.

The owner of Hyderabad says that the players have redefined T20 cricket. Let us tell you that this season the opening batsmen of SRH performed brilliantly and they made the highest score in the power play in the history of IPL. Not only this, this team crossed the mark of more than 250 runs twice this season. Many great players of the cricket world were also seen praising their courage. Now a similar big statement has been given in the dressing room to boost the morale of the players.

She said, “You guys have made us proud. I have come here to tell you that you have defined T20 cricket in a different way. Everyone is talking about our game and one day we had a bad day. You guys have performed very well this season with both bat and ball. Last season we finished at the bottom of the points table. You guys have changed the way cricket is played and thank you very much for giving so much happiness this season. You guys should not be disappointed like this, we have reached the final and only one match went bad.”
