The T20 World Cup 2024 will be played in the US and West Indies from June 2, before which a big news related to the Indian team has come out. Actually, Virat Kohli, Sanju Samson and Hardik Pandya are going to join the Indian team for the T20 World Cup late.

According to the Indian Express report, Virat Kohli had already informed the BCCI that he would be joining the Indian team for the T20 World Cup late, for which he got approval from the BCCI.

A BCCI official told the Indian Express, “Kohli had already informed us that he would be joining the team late and hence the BCCI has put his visa appointment on a later date. He is expected to leave for New York on the morning of May 30. The BCCI has agreed to his request.”

Not only this, wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson and Hardik Pandya are also going to join Team India late. According to reports, Hardik Pandya is not present in India and will directly join India in America to play the T20 World Cup. Sanju Samson, on the other hand, is going to be late due to paper work.

Virat will not be able to play this match

Also know that Virat Kohli is going to leave for the T20 World Cup on May 30, so it is possible that he will miss the only practice match of the Indian team in the T20 World Cup which is going to be held with Bangladesh on June 1.
