Will Jacks, Jos Buttler, Phil Salt and some English players should have participated in the IPL eliminator. This would have given them a chance to perform well under pressure. This is my belief. I think it would have been better to play the IPL playoffs than playing a T20 match against Pakistan.

He further said, “I am completely in favor of international cricket, but in this tournament (IPL) one gets to know how to handle pressure. Here players are under a lot of pressure from fans, owners and social media. I think Butler should have stayed in India. Jacques and Salt also get help to improve themselves through IPL.”
