New Delhi : Once again there is going to be a big change in Team India and this time the matter is not to any player or coach, but to the important support staff of the team. Indian team physiotherapist Kamlesh Jain has submitted his resignation to BCCI before the 3-match T20 International series against Afghanistan starting from September 13. However, his resignation has not been accepted yet and he is currently associated with the Indian team in Delhi.
According to the report of Cricbuzz, Kamlesh Jain is currently completing his 3 months notice period. In such a situation, he can be seen with Team India for the next few months and the New Zealand tour in early December could be his last assignment. According to the report, the main reason for the resignation is the frequent travelling. Kamlesh has been working with the Indian team for about four and a half years. He took over the responsibility of physiotherapist in June 2022. He loved working with Team India, but wants to avoid constant travel to spend more time with his young family.
Kamlesh Jain was associated with Team India by BCCI when he was working with Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL. At that time Rahul Dravid was the head coach of the team. Kamlesh had replaced Nitin Patel, who had later joined the BCCI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru. Now after Kamlesh's resignation, another big change can be seen in the support staff of Team India. However, no official statement has come from BCCI on this matter yet. At present, despite resigning, Kamlesh Jain has not completely separated from Team India and can be seen with the team till the completion of the notice period.
