East Zone captain Ishan Kishan on Sunday scored a hundred during the side’s Duleep Trophy final against South Zone at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
The Jharkhand batter reached the three-figure mark in 122 balls with the help of 12 fours and two sixes.
This was the 10th First-Class century for the southpaw and only his second in the Duleep Trophy. He had struck 111 for India C two years back in Anantapur.
All his other tons have come for Jharkhand in the Ranji Trophy, with the highest being 273 against Delhi in 2016.
He last played a Test for India in 2023.
In three innings, he scored 73 runs which included an unbeaten 52.
