India Women's vice-captain Smriti Mandhana made history on Thursday, September 3, as she became the highest run-scorer in women's international cricket. The India Women vice-captain achieved the feat by scoring a sensational 124 runs off just 64 balls against the Hong Kong Women's team in an exhibition match in Dubai. Smriti Mandhana has amassed 10,880 runs from all forms of the women's game, surpassing former India captain Mithali Raj's record of 10,868 runs.
In addition to holding the position of the highest run-scorer in women's international cricket, Mandhana has tied with teammate Rohit Sharma for the highest number of 50-plus scores in T20 cricket.

1. Virat Kohli (39)
The first on the list is Virat Kohli, who has 39 50-plus scores in 125 matches (117 innings) that he has played so far. Out of 38 innings, he scored half-centuries and a brilliant 122 runs from 61 balls while chasing Afghanistan in Dubai during the 2022 Asia Cup (an unbeaten score). Besides his superb half-century (50) against the West Indies in Hyderabad (2019) while playing T20 internationals, Kohli has also scored a stunning unbeaten 90 runs against Australia in Adelaide (2016).
2. Smriti Mandhana and Rohit Sharma (37)
Smriti Mandhana:
In 173 matches (167 innings), Smriti Mandhana has amassed two centuries and 35 fifties while playing T20 international matches for India. She scored her best-ever 124 runs against Hong Kong, helping India to post a big total of 137 runs and defeating them by a huge margin. Apart from this, she also played a brilliant unbeaten knock of 112 runs from 62 balls against the England Women's team at Nottingham earlier this year (June 2026).
Rohit Sharma:
Scoring 37 fifties plus scores, the former India skipper also has five centuries and 32 half-centuries in 173 matches (159 innings) in T20Is. Sharma's best-ever score remains 121 runs against Afghanistan in Bengaluru (January 2024). Besides this, he has scored a century against Sri Lanka (50), West Indies (53), South Africa (52), and England (50) while chasing down opponents' bowling with remarkable ease.
4. Suryakumar Yadav (29)
Suryakumar Yadav holds the fourth position on this list with 29 fifties plus scores (4 centuries and 25 half-centuries) in 113 matches (107 innings). He is one of the best T20 batsmen to have appeared for India and is known for his shot-making abilities. His best ever score of 117 runs came against England at Nottingham (July 2022) in 55 balls. He has scored three tons (112, 111, and 100) in 107 innings, apart from his unbeaten 117 runs against Sri Lanka, New Zealand, and South Africa.
5. KL Rahul (24)
KL Rahul has 24 fifties plus scores (2 centuries and 22 half-centuries) in 72 matches (68 innings) at number three. His best ever T20 knock came against West Indies in Lauderhill (August 2016) when he remained unbeaten at 110 runs from 51 balls. KL Rahul also played an unbeaten knock of 101 runs from 54 balls while facing England's bowling in Manchester (July 2018).
