In such a situation, former Pakistan captain and legendary all-rounder Shahid Afridi believes that no team has a bowling attack like Pakistan and this team can win the T20 World Cup 2024 title.

47-year-old Shahid Afridi said, “I think no team in the world has a strong bowling attack like Pakistan. All four bowlers in our team are adept at performing effectively. The one sitting on the bench (Abbas Afridi) has a habit of bowling slow balls.”

He said, “If these world class players are on the field against world class teams, then the performance will definitely improve. Every player of the Pakistan team has a big responsibility.”

He further said, “And I want Pakistan to reach the final of the World Cup because the pitches of West Indies and America will be helpful for them. I think the spinners of our team are not in form, but they are working on it.”

The former all-rounder said, “The strike rate of the batsmen is an important issue. Runs are being scored at a slow pace from 7 to 11 overs, so the strike rate has to be increased. At least 9 runs have to be scored in an over, but still Pakistan is a strong contender for the World Cup.”
