Delhi: The exciting journey of Women's The Hundred 2026 ended with the final played at Lord's on Sunday. Trent Rockets won the title for the first time by defeating Sunrisers Leeds by 8 wickets. This season, four Indian women players participated in the tournament. These included Deepti Sharma, Smriti Mandhana, Richa Ghosh and Jemimah Rodrigues.

Deepti Sharma left a strong impression

Deepti Sharma's performance was the best among Indian players.

Deepti, playing for Sunrisers Leeds, took 13 wickets in 10 matches and was the second highest wicket taker of the tournament. His bowling average was 13.53.

He also made useful contributions with the bat and scored 69 runs in four innings. His highest score was 28 runs not out. This was his most successful campaign in the Hundred so far. However, his team had to face defeat against Trent Rockets in the final.

Smriti Mandhana's brilliant performance

Smriti Mandhana of Manchester Super Giants also batted brilliantly. He scored 232 runs in seven matches and his average was 38.66.

During this, he played an excellent inning of 88 unbeaten runs. This was the second best performance of his Hundred career.

Injury put an end to Jemima's journey

Southern Brave's Jemimah Rodrigues scored 143 runs in six matches. His batting average was 35.75 and strike rate was 131.19. However, his tournament was cut short due to a hamstring injury suffered in a match against Welsh Fire on 3 August.

How was Richa Ghosh's performance?

Richa Ghosh of Manchester Super Giants scored 114 runs in seven matches. His average was 19.

He scored his first half-century in the Hundred by scoring 54 runs in 34 balls against Southern Brave. However, due to playing in different batting orders, she could not make a consistent impact. Still, this was the best season in terms of runs in his Hundred career.
