Lucknow. On the second day of the fourth season of Uttar Pradesh T-20 League, the match between Lucknow Falcons and Gorakhpur Lions at Ekana Stadium was started by Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak by ringing the bell in the traditional style.

On this occasion, Dr. Sanjay Kapoor, Chairman of UP T-20 League Governing Council, welcomed him and honored him by presenting him a memento.

Youth are getting a bigger platform: Deputy CM

Encouraging the players, Brajesh Pathak said that the UP T-20 League is giving a great platform to the youth of the state to showcase their talent. He said that the government and sports organizations are continuously promoting cricket and other sports.

Through this league, the youth are getting a golden opportunity to play with and learn from experienced and international level cricketers.

He expressed confidence that in the coming times, many new talents will emerge from this league and bring glory to Uttar Pradesh at the national and international level.

Expressing his gratitude on the presence of Deputy CM, Dr.

Sanjay Kapoor said that UP T-20 League is not just a cricket tournament, but a resolution to bring the hidden talents of the state into the mainstream.

He said that continuous efforts are being made to provide a better platform to the promising players from Lucknow to small cities and rural towns, so that they can make their mark on a larger level.

He expressed hope that this encouragement from the Deputy CM will help in instilling new energy in the players.
