Amelia Kerr produced one of the most remarkable innings in The Hundred 2026, single-handedly dragging MI London to an unlikely victory at Lord's. Walking in at 23 for 5, she watched wickets tumble around her as Charlie Dean ripped through the middle order with figures of 3 for 6. MI London slumped to 64 for 8, seemingly down and out.

But Kerr refused to give up. She farmed the strike and then unleashed her attacking game, smashing 69 off 41 balls with five fours and four sixes. Her ninth-wicket stand of 32 with Kirstie Gordon lifted the total to 122 for 9. Dean, who started with 3 for 6, finished with 3 for 26 as Kerr targeted her with four sixes.

In reply, London Spirit needed 123 but fell just short. Marizanne Kapp (34) and Nadine de Klerk (35) gave them hope, but Deandra Dottin's run-out on the last ball left them four runs short. MI London finally secured their first win of the season, defending a total that seemed impossible at one stage.
