IPL 2012, KKR vs CSK

For the first time, KKR made it to the finals of IPL 2012 and won the title for the first time by defeating Chennai Super Kings by 5 wickets. Batting first, Chennai gave Kolkata a difficult target of 191 runs, which Gautam Gambhir-led KKR achieved in the last over. Manvinder Bisla (89 runs) and Jacques Kallis (69 runs) were the heroes of victory for the Knight Riders.

IPL 2014, KKR vs KXIP

Two years after winning its first title, KKR again won the trophy. In the final match of IPL 2014, KKR chased a target of 200 runs against Punjab Kings (then Kings XI Punjab). Manish Pandey played a brilliant innings of 94 runs while Yusuf Pathan contributed 36 runs and made his team the winner of IPL for the second time.

IPL 2021, CSK vs KKR

In IPL 2021, Kolkata entered the final under the captaincy of Eoin Morgan, but KKR missed out on winning their third title in front of a strong team like Chennai. Batting first, Chennai set a target of 193 runs, in response to which the Knight Riders could score a total of 165 runs and lost the title match by 27 runs.
