Seeing Bolt's excellent bowling, Sidhu was very impressed and he has called him the most dangerous bowler of IPL. Let us tell you that in this match, Hyderabad opener Abhishek Sharma won the initial battle against him and hit a four and a six on two balls. However, after this Bolt won because he showed Abhishek the way to the pavilion. Trent took 3 wickets in the powerplay against SRH and put his team ahead in the match. Seeing his performance, Sidhu has given a big statement during a conversation on Star Sports.
He said, “Trent Boult is getting better with age. Abhishek may have hit a four and a six against him but after that he used his experience and got the batsman out. When there are some restrictions on the field in the powerplay, he proves to be the most dangerous bowler. Boult has been doing this for years and batsmen have not been very successful against him.”
The left-arm fast bowler has bowled brilliantly with the new ball in IPL 2024. He has taken the most 7 wickets in the first over of the powerplay this season. Not only this, he has taken a total of 12 wickets in the first 6 overs this season and is the highest wicket-taker in the powerplay this year. The 34-year-old bowled 3 overs in the powerplay in the match against Hyderabad, conceding 32 runs and sending 3 batsmen to the pavilion.
The 34-year-old Bolt has played a total of 15 matches in IPL 2024 so far, in which he has taken 16 wickets with an excellent economy of 8.27.
