Sunrisers Hyderabad’s spinners bowled eight overs and took five wickets to take their franchise to a 36-run win over Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2 of the Indian Premier League 2024. Chasing 176, Shahbaz Ahmed (3 wickets) and Abhishek Sharma (2 wickets) restricted to 139/7 runs in 20 overs. Dhruv Jurel hit a well compiled fifty for the Royals but it was not enough. SRH will face KKR in the final of May 26.
Earlier, Hyderabad posted 175/9, with Heinrich Klaasen amassing a fifty. Trent Boult and Avesh Khan took three wickets each, respectively.
