It was believed that Dhoni, who retired from international cricket in 2019, would also bid farewell to the IPL series.

Since then, for the last 4 years, he has been expected to retire. However, Dhoni has used his fitness to make age a number and continues to play at par with the younger players. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see whether he will play for CSK next year as well or not.
