Shreyas Iyer achieved this feat by winning the toss against England in the fourth T20 being held in Bristol. He has broken the record of Rohit Sharma.

He won the toss in 6 consecutive matches between August 2019 and December 2019.

The world record for winning the toss in most consecutive matches in T20I is held in the name of MS Dhoni. Dhoni had won the toss in 7 consecutive matches between May 2010 and February 2012.
