England captain Charlie Dean said her side will continue pushing for higher standards despite securing a semi-final spot with a 38-run victory over West Indies at Lord's.

The win made England the first team to qualify for the last four, with one group game still to play. England's total of 186/7, built on strong contributions from Danni Wyatt-Hodge and Heather Knight, proved too much for the West Indies.

"I'm never satisfied. I always want to keep getting better," Dean said. "I still think I can put in better performances than I did today.
Happy, but always learning, always getting better."

Dean acknowledged the significance of reaching the knockout stage ahead of schedule: "It's brilliant. It's what we set out to do. To get over the line with a game to spare feels great."

She highlighted the collective batting effort: "Different people scoring runs, Heather and Danni were standouts, but everyone chipped in. To get to 186 at Lord's, we felt we had a really good chance."

While England controlled much of the match, Dean admitted that fielding wasn't perfect, with several chances going down.
"A few catches went down, but they looked like hard chances. The fact that we got to those balls that we previously wouldn't have is a positive. We can cling to a few more when it might mean more. It's a game to get better."

With four wins from four, Dean's message was clear—progress, not perfection, as England refine their game ahead of the knockout stages.
