Team India opener Rohit Sharma was spotted at the Mumbai Airport on June 22. Many fans requested the batter for selfies, with one of them getting close to the star batter before being pushed away by a bodyguard.

Rohit was not pleased with the act of his security and looked unhappy with his behaviour. He stared at the bodyguard and confronted him for manhandling the fan.

Journalist Pallav Paliwal uploaded the video of the incident on Instagram, and it has gone viral.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma was last seen in action during the three-match ODI series against Afghanistan.

He was run out after scoring 16 runs in the first match in Dharamsala. In the next fixture in Lucknow, Rohit scored 48 runs off 39 balls. His best performance came in the third and final contest of the assignment, amassing 79 runs off 69 balls as India completed a 3-0 clean sweep.

Cheteshwar Pujara mentioned that Rohit Sharma will be relaxed after scoring runs ahead of the England series.

He noted that the opener was in fine touch during the third game. According to him, Rohit will be high on confidence after the 79-run innings and backed him to score runs in England.

“A player needs runs, and Rohit looked impressive against Afghanistan on Saturday. He needed to be among the runs. He has the support of the team management, but if a player doesn’t score runs, the pressure increases.

“He would have felt relieved after coming back to form. He will feel good when he takes the field against England, and the wickets will also suit him.

He was good in the fielding department as well and took three catches. It was a good day for him. He will enjoy the series in England.”

The three-match series between India and England is set to start on July 14.
