BCCI has made changes in the squad of Indian A team in the middle of the tri-series. BCCI said that the selection committee has included Ashok Sharma in place of Yudhveer Singh in the India A squad for the ongoing tri-series in Sri Lanka. It is reported that Yudhveer had complained of pain in his right shoulder while bowling on June 13 and during a fielding session on June 11.
Giving further details, BCCI said that the medical team, after consulting a specialist, has asked the batsman to undergo a graduated rehabilitation program under the supervision of the Center of Excellence for complete recovery from the right rotator cuff injury.
Ashok may get a chance to play
He took six wickets in six matches. Although these wickets were less, he impressed everyone with his fast bowling. Now India’s next match in the tri-series will be against Afghanistan, which will be played on June 17. Ashok may get a chance to play in this. Although it is difficult to say whether the team will be able to reach the finals.
