Kohli can play in ODI series against England

The 37-year-old Kohli is currently suffering from a rare hamstring injury ‘digital semimembranosus tendon tear’, which he suffered during the final match of IPL 2026.

Due to this injury, he has been ruled out of the ongoing ODI series against Afghanistan and Yashasvi Jaiswal has been included in the team in his place. Virat Kohli is currently working on his fitness in Bengaluru and it is expected that he will be completely fit before the upcoming ODI series against England.
