India (IND) registered a clinical start to the series against Afghanistan (AFG), but it is now the time that the visitors can draw levels with a win in the second ODI, which is scheduled to be played on Wednesday, June 17, at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

India will look to seal the series with a win in the upcoming contest in front of their home crowd. In the first ODI, which was also a rain-curtailed affair with both sides getting 25 overs each, the hosts restricted the Afghans to 194 and then chased down the total with 13 balls and seven wickets to spare. With the ball, India's inexperienced attack did not falter much, with debutants Gurnoor Brar and Harsh Dubey impressing.

For Afghanistan, the challenge will not only be to win the match but also to keep the series alive with the third and final ODI slated to take place on June 20. Heading into the upcoming match, the visitors will look to overcome their fallacies, especially with the bat to pose some real challenge to the strong Indian side.
