Defending champions Tungabhadra Warriors (TW) will take on the Kakinada Kings (KK) in Match 9 of the 2026 Andhra Premier League at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, June 13, as part of a double header. 

TW will come into the game on the back of a heavy defeat at the hands of the Amaravati Royals in Match 2 of the season. The Warriors were bundled out for just 105 in the first innings, with the opponents chasing down the total in a mere 11 overs. 

KK, on the other hand, secured a convincing win against the Simhadri Vizag Lions in their first match of the new campaign. They scored 219 in the first innings to help them secure a 71-run victory. Before their game on Saturday, the Kings would have played their second match, against the Vijayawada Sunshiners on Friday afternoon.
