England all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt says the team sees pressure as a privilege as they chase a home T20 World Cup title.

The hosts are among the favorites and are aiming to end a 17-year wait for the trophy. They open against Sri Lanka on Friday, June 12.

England lost to Australia by five wickets in their first warm-up, with the top order struggling against Sophie Molineux's attack. But they bounced back with a thrilling five-run win over India, thanks to centuries from Sciver-Brunt and Amy Jones.

With preparations complete, all eyes are on whether Charlotte Edwards' side can follow in the footsteps of the Lionesses and the Red Roses by winning a major tournament on home soil.

"There's extra pressure from everywhere," Sciver-Brunt said.
"We are the host nation, and this is my first home World Cup leading the team.""We are the host nation, and this is my first home World Cup leading the team."
