Delhi: Liam Livingstone, who won the title with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in IPL 2025, has got a big responsibility in The Hundred 2026. Livingstone has been elected captain of the London Spirit team. Livingstone will become only the fourth captain to captain London after Eoin Morgan, Dan Lawrence and Kane Williamson. London Spirit announced the appointment of Livingstone as captain in a unique way. London shared a video on social media in which Livingstone was reading a newspaper, the headline of which was – “London Spirit men’s team makes a shocking decision regarding captaincy.”

Less chance in IPL 2026

Livingstone did not get much chance to play in IPL 2026. Livingstone was a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad this season. Livingstone was bought by Hyderabad in mini-auction for Rs 13 crore. Livingstone played only two matches in the entire season. During this period only 15 runs came from his bat.
