New Delhi: PM Modi has completed 4,399 days in the Prime Minister's office. With this, he has left behind the record of longest continuous tenure of the country's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi enjoyed Jhalmuri with the leaders of the alliance at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi today.
All allies present in the meeting congratulated PM Modi on becoming India's longest continuously serving Prime Minister. The PM also got a group photograph taken.
Interestingly, this time West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari himself served Jhalmuri to PM Modi with his own hand.
Both the leaders were seen smiling at this memorable moment. After this the PM distributed Jhalmuri among the other leaders present. PM Modi has also shared this special moment on social media. In which the Prime Minister is seen enjoying Jhalmuri with the leaders.However, India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru took office in 1947 and won the country's first general election in 1951–52. He remained in this post until his death in 1964. At the same time, India's first woman Prime Minister Indira Gandhi served for almost 16 years, but her tenure was divided into two different parts.
