Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer film 'Peddi' is performing tremendously at the box office. Released on June 4, 2026, this mass-action film started earning handsomely from the very first day.
However, the film is facing criticism regarding the presentation of Janhvi Kapoor's character, due to which the audience has reduced somewhat. However, this effect is also on week days. After making excellent collections in the first weekend, there was a big decline in the film's earnings on the first Monday. Despite this, it has reached close to earning Rs 250 crore.
According to Sacnilk report, the film collected a net collection of around Rs 12.05 crore on the fifth day i.e.
the first Monday after its release. With this, in terms of net earnings in India, the film has crossed the milestone of Rs 150 crore and has reached a collection of Rs 169.70 crore. The film made a gross collection of only Rs 1 crore in the overseas market on Monday, after adding which the 5-day overseas gross collection has become Rs 47 crore. The gross collection of the film in India was Rs 201.92 crore. Whereas the worldwide gross collection has reached Rs 248.92 crore. It is believed that by the second weekend the film can cross the Rs 300 crore mark worldwide.Total Net Collection: Rs 169.70 crore
If we look at the figures, we find that the film's earnings on the first Monday (fifth day) have declined by 62.5% as compared to the fourth day's collection.
The film is constantly facing criticism regarding the presentation of Janhvi Kapoor's character 'Achiyamma'. On social media, people have raised questions about some camera angles and romantic scenes of the film. Many viewers alleged that the female character in the film has been hyper sexualized. Viewers claim that some scenes appear to be shown without proper consent.
