Ahmedabad: The belief is that Gautam Gambhir’s presence has been instrumental in changing the fortunes of the Kolkata Knight Riders. Well, now that the KKR side is in the final of IPL 2024, mentor of the side Gambhir had a message for all fans. After the eight-wicket win over the Sunrisers on Tuesday at the Narendra Modi stadium, Gambhir urged fans to make it a ‘purple’ wave on May 26. The summit clash takes place at the M. Chidambaram in Chennai. It was a comfortable win for the Knight Riders as they did not have to fight till the end.
