Hello and Welcome to all

It is the day that all cricket fans have waited for as two sides meet each other for the biggest game of the season. Last night European football’s club season ended with Paris Saint Germain beating Arsenal on penalties to successfully defend their European crown.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be looking to do the same against a large crowd that will be out to support their home team. Narendra Modi Stadium is all set to host the finals of the biggest cricketing game in the world when we speak about franchise cricket

Rajat Patidar is standing on the cusp of becoming only the third captain to successfully defend the IPL crown. Other two names in this list aren’t bad either in MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma. Last year, RCB went onto win the title at this very venue against a spirited Punjab Kings side. The Royal Challengers reached the finals after winning the first qualifier by 92 runs with a dominating performance.

Gujarat Titans, are no pushovers as they have played fantastic cricket in the second half of the season. Total of six wins from seven matches is a form shown by champion teams. Surely, they were soundly beaten in the first qualifier by the defending champions, but the way Shubman Gill and his side bounced back to beat Rajasthan Royals is stuff of legends.

Both sides have dangerous batters who can change the course of the game in the powerplay overs. Middle-order filled with power hitters with all-rounders who can excel in facets off the game. One cannot forget the fast bowling talents both teams possess with eyes particularly on Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Kagiso Rabada the two leading wicket-takers this season.

As the two teams stand on the cusp of history, the next 240 deliveries will determine which team comes out on top and win this season’s title.
