What is the monthly price of Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus and WhatsApp Plus by Meta? What exclusive features are going to be available to Instagram Plus users? What new options will be provided in WhatsApp Plus to improve the messaging experience?

Meta is set to change the way you use Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. The company has launched new premium membership plans for users around the world including India, which will provide some special benefits. Meta is rolling out 'Plus' versions of its apps, which will give paying customers access to features and personalization options that won't be available to regular users. It is clear from this step that Meta no longer wants to depend only on advertising revenue. Instead, the company will now charge users every month for advanced messaging tools, greater visibility, and a premium social media experience.

The price of Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus has been kept at $ 3.99 (about Rs 387) per month, while the price of WhatsApp Plus will be $ 2.99 (about Rs 290) per month. However, Meta has not yet revealed their prices in India.

Instagram will get advanced tools and profile customization

According to a report by TechCrunch, Instagram Plus users will get many great features. They will be able to create unlimited audience lists for Stories in addition to the 'Close Friends' function. They will also be able to see how many people have re-viewed their story. Not only this, users will be able to watch others' stories secretly and the other person will not even see their name in the viewer list.

Apart from this, in this plan, users will be able to highlight one of their stories every week for more visibility and will also be able to keep the story for more than 24 hours. Another interesting feature is that users will be able to post directly to their profile and highlights, which will not be visible in their followers' feeds. Additionally, they will also be able to see who is viewing their story in their Story Viewer List. The meta is also bringing some fun cosmetic changes. Instagram Plus users will get options like extra profile pins, special app icons, unique fonts for bio and animated 'Super Heart' reactions.

Messaging will be personalized in WhatsApp

Facebook Plus is also expected to have features similar to Instagram, while WhatsApp Plus is focusing on customizing messaging. WhatsApp users will get options like custom themes, original ringtones, premium stickers, facility to pin more chats and advanced list customization. Meta's head of product, Naomi Gleit, indicated in a statement on Instagram that the company plans to introduce "even more fun features" in the future. Meta has also clarified that these new subscriptions are completely different from the company's existing paid verification service 'Meta Verified'. The 'Meta Verified' service is for identity verification, customer support and protection from fake accounts.

Meanwhile, Meta's subscription plans are not limited to just social media apps. The company has also introduced "Meta One", which includes plans focused on AI, creators, and businesses. The new Meta AI subscriptions will come in two levels. The first plan is 'Meta One Plus', which will cost $7.99 (about Rs 775) per month. It's for people who frequently use Meta AI for images, video, or long-form work. At the same time, there is also an expensive 'Meta One Premium' plan, which will cost $ 19.99 (about Rs 1,939) per month and the same features will be available in it with a much higher usage limit.
