Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins has won the toss and elected to bat first against Kolkata Knight Riders in Qualifier 1 of the Indian Premier League 2024.

“The pitch looks good and the boys are excited to play in the playoffs after a long gap. It is going to be a high scoring match. We are chilled out,” Pat Cummins said.

Shreyas Iyer would have bowled first had he won the toss. “We would have bowled first as it is a pressure game and it is good to see the score of the rival team. I don’t want to think about the past results and it is important to focus on today’s game,” Shreyas Iyer said.
