Let us tell you that in the year 2016, Bengaluru had a disappointing performance in the first half but in the second half they made a wonderful comeback and made it to the finals. Veteran batsman Virat Kohli, who was captaining the team at that time, had given an incredible performance with the bat. He scored 973 runs this season, which included 4 centuries. This season, RCB came closest to the trophy but they had to face defeat by 8 runs at the hands of Hyderabad.
