IPL playoffs teams combined playing XI: In the league stage of IPL 2024, the spectators got to see many exciting matches. However, during this period the rain definitely spoiled the fun of some matches. After the conclusion of the league stage, now only 4 teams are left in the race to lift the trophy. This includes the names of Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

These four teams seem to be strong contenders to win the title and each team includes more than one strong player. Some of these players have performed brilliantly in the league stage and have also played an important role in qualifying their team for the playoffs.

Top order- Travis Head (SRH), Sunil Narine (KKR) and Virat Kohli (RCB)

The fans have really enjoyed the way Travis Head and Sunil Narine have opened in the current season of IPL. Both the left-handed batsmen did not show mercy to any bowler of the opposing team. This is the reason why Head and Narine are included in the list of batsmen who scored the most runs in the tournament. Head has scored runs at a strike rate of 218.07, while Narine has had a strike rate of 173.15. Narine has also taken 13 wickets in bowling, which proves that he is the most valuable player of the season.

Virat Kohli
He has scored 708 runs this season and is at number one in the contention for the Orange Cap. Kohli is a suitable batsman to play at number 3. He likes to play at this number in ODI format.

Middle order- Sanju Samson (RR), Heinrich Klaasen (SRH), Dinesh Karthik (RCB) and Andre Russell (KKR).

Sanju Samson is the only player from Rajasthan Royals selected in this combined playing XI. Samson's performance in the first phase of the league stage was tremendous, but his performance in the second phase was disappointing. Samson has scored 504 runs so far this season and he is at sixth position in terms of scoring the most runs.

There are two more wicketkeeper batsmen with him in the middle order. These include the names of Hyderabad's strong batsmen Heinrich Klaasen and Dinesh Karthik. The South African middle-order batsman has proved his mettle this season and has scored 381 runs at an average of 42.33 and a strike rate of 183.17.

This season is like a dream season for Dinesh Karthik. He has scored 315 runs at a strike rate of 195.65. Karthik can finish the game well along with Klaasen and Samson in the middle order.

If these three batsmen flop in the middle order, then Andre Russell alone has the ability to win the match for the team on his own. Russell is adept in performing wonders with the bat as well as the ball. In the current season, Russell's bowling average in the middle overs has been quite excellent.

Bowlers: Harshit Rana (KKR), Varun Chakravarthy (KKR), Yash Dayal (RCB), T Natarajan (SRH)

KKR's bowling unit has been the strongest in IPL 2024. Harshit Rana and Varun Chakraborty have been their two main bowlers. Both these bowlers are also in contention for the Purple Cap. Rana bowls lethally in the powerplay with the new ball and even in the death overs, he does not relent in troubling the batsmen.

Varun Chakraborty has caught everyone's attention by taking 10 wickets in his last four matches of this season. Varun also has a chance to win the Purple Cap after the teams of Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel were out of the tournament.

T Natarajan and Yash Dayal have also impressed with their excellent bowling in the tournament. Both these batsmen have taken 17 and 15 wickets respectively. Together, these four fast bowlers can destroy the batting lineup of any team.

Riyan Parag has been the top performer of his team Rajasthan Royals this season. At the same time, Sandeep Sharma is bowling excellent in the death overs. Both these players have been selected as impact players.
