The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced how and where to buy tickets for the IPL playoff matches and the finals. District by Zomato has been named as the official ticketing partners for the most important phase of the season. Dharamsala will host the first qualifier on 26th May 2026, with Mullanpur set to host the eliminator and second qualifier on 27th and 29th May respectively, with Ahmedabad hosting the finals on 31st May.
The Indian Premier League 2026 season has just a handful of games remaining in the league phase. The league matches end on Sunday, 24th May, with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) hosting the Delhi Capitals. Three teams, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Gujarat Titans, have made it to the playoffs so far.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) are still in the race for a place in the top four. Teams like Chennai, Delhi, and Kolkata also have an outside chance of making it to the playoffs. Eden Gardens will witness KKR hosting the Mumbai Indians in their 13th game of the season on Wednesday.
Tickets will be available first for people with a RuPay credit card. The fans can get close to the action by using the priority access on 20th May 2026 at 7 PM IST. Fans can avail this facility for 24 hours, which is till 21st May 2026, 7 PM IST. Here, the fans can buy tickets for the first qualifier game on 26th and the eliminator on 27th May, respectively.
The second window for booking opens on 22nd May, 7 PM IST for the second qualifier game and the all-important finals at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad. These are also on a priority basis for the people using RuPay credit cards.
General fans can book the tickets via the District By Zomato website and mobile application, on 21st May at 8 PM IST for qualifier 1 and eliminator matches, and on 23rd May at 8 PM IST for the other two massive games of the IPL 2026 season.
