With their four-wicket win, the three-time champions are still in contention in the playoff race. Chasing 148, the host franchise reached the target in 18.5 overs. Pandey scored 45 runs off 33 balls, laced with 6 fours, while Powell added a 30-ball 40 to the total.

Mumbai bowlers were brilliant in the powerplay overs, getting rid of Finn Allen. He managed 8 runs off 5 deliveries.
