BCCI Domestic Home Season 2026-27: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule of the 2026-27 domestic cricket season. This season, a total of 1,788 matches will be played in different age groups in men's and women's categories. The domestic season will start from 23 August 2026 with Duleep Trophy. This tournament, played between six zonal teams, will mark the beginning of the long format. After this, Irani Cup will be played from October 1.
BCCI has given priority to multi-day cricket, Ranji Trophy and Colonel C.K. It has been decided to play Naidu Trophy in two phases. This will allow players to get more recovery time. At the same time, in the elite group of Ranji Trophy, 32 teams will play in four groups, apart from this, 6 teams will be included in the plate group.

Colonel C.K. Nayudu Trophy Winners vs Rest of India match has been included again. It will be played from 1 to 4 October 2026 and will provide a better platform to the U23 emerging players. Apart from this, the Men's U23 State A Trophy and Vijay Trophy will now be held in T20 format instead of one-day. Along with this, the knockout matches of Cooch Behar Trophy (Elite Group) will be played in Bengaluru and Mysuru. With this, there will be equal competition between all the teams. On the other hand, Vijay Merchant Trophy (U16) has been given a new date. It will now be played from November to January.
Elite A- Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Baroda, Uttar Pradesh, Puducherry, Goa.
Elite B- Karnataka, Andhra, Saurashtra, Chhattisgarh, Hyderabad, Tripura, Punjab, Assam.
Elite C- Bengal, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Services, Gujarat, Kerala, Delhi, Odisha.
Elite D- Uttarakhand, Mumbai, Haryana, Railways, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh.
Plate- Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh.
