Sunrisers Hyderabad qualified for the IPL 2026 Playoffs with a five-wicket win over the Chennai Super Kings at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Monday.

Ishan Kishan anchored the chase with a 47-ball 70 after Pat Cummins picked three wickets to restrict CSK to 180 for seven in 20 overs.

Sanju Samson: 5 – Got the team off to a blistering start before being caught behind off Pat Cummins. (27 runs off 13 balls – 5 fours, 1 six)

Ruturaj Gaikwad:2 – Was a muted presence, struggling to find his usual fluency before falling to Cummins. (15 runs off 21 balls – 0 fours, 0 sixes)

Urvil Patel: 4 – Had a brief but high-impact cameo, smashing two big hits early on before being clean-bowled by Sakib Hussain. (13 runs off 8 balls – 2 sixes)

Akeal Hosein: 6 – Picked up the wicket of Abhishek Sharma and restricted the scoring rate.

Noor Ahmad: 4 – The Afghan spinner’s dismissal of Klaasen came a little too late and he was also slightly expensive in his spell. (1/40 in 4 overs)

Anshul Kamboj: 3.5 – The wicket of Ishan Kishan in his final over was merely a consolation. Missed his lengths frequently and proved to be expensive. (1/46 in 4 overs)

Spencer Johnson: 4 – Went wicketless in the game, but displayed good control with the ball during the PowerPlay.

Ishan Kishan: 8.5 – Played a match-winning knock to take his side home in a tough chase.
