The Chennai Super Kings play host to theSunrisers Hyderabadat the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Match 63 of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) on Monday, May 18.

The five-time champions CSK are coming off a heavy defeat against the Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Stadium, which halted their momentum and left them at sixth in the standings with 12 points from 12 matches. They find themselves in a tricky position and need to win their remaining two group games to stay alive in the playoff race.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, on the other hand, are sitting more comfortably in third place with 14 points from 12 games despite a massive 82-run thumping by the Gujarat Titans, where they were bundled out for a mere 86.

A victory at Chepauk would potentially seal a top-four spot for the visitors.
