Now such news is coming out about Dhoni that he can go to London to undergo surgery for his injury. Let us tell you that even during IPL 2023, Mahi had to face a knee injury and he continued playing with the same problem throughout the season. A new injury has emerged as a problem for him in IPL 2024, but even after this he played cricket for the entire season and played the role of finisher well for his team this year. However, now he is ready to undergo surgery for his injury and for this he will go to London.
Actually, according to a report by IANS, “Dhoni will go to London to undergo operation for his muscle injury. This injury has caused him a lot of trouble during IPL 2024. He was not fit but still wanted to play cricket. Now he will go to London for treatment and will decide on his future only after the surgery. He will take 5 to 6 months to recover from this injury.”
Let us tell you that the 42-year-old played his last match in IPL 2024 on Saturday against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. In this match, Chennai had to face defeat by 27 runs and they were out of the playoffs. So, RCB had made its place in the top-4 by defeating the defending champions and now they will be seen playing against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the eliminator match.

In the current season of IPL, the right-handed batsman played the role of finisher well for CSK despite being injured. He played a total of 14 matches this season, scoring 161 runs with an impressive strike rate of 220.55. During this period, 13 sixes and 14 fours came from his bat.
