There was a flood of big scores in the 19th season of the Indian Premier League. In this season, every team scored more than 200 runs several times. Many times such big scores were successfully chased. You may have had to wait for the first century, but once you start scoring centuries, the trend continues. But centuries are scored in every season but this time what has happened has never happened before and it happened with Virat Kohli's century.
Star batsman of Royal Challengers Bangalore Virat Kohli Scored a brilliant century against Kolkata Knight Riders. This was Kohli's 9th century in IPL. On the basis of this, Bengaluru registered a strong victory. Kohli not only created records with his century but with this a record was also registered in the name of IPL 2026. In fact, for the first time in IPL, all 10 teams have scored centuries in a season.
This season, the century started from Chennai Super Kings, for which Sanju Samson scored a century. After this, centuries started being scored for each team one by one. Sanju has scored 2 centuries for CSK. Quinton de Kock, Tilak Verma and Ryan Rickleton have scored centuries for Mumbai Indians. Then Sai Sudarshan played a century for Gujarat Titans, while Abhishek Sharma did this feat for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Now if centuries are being scored then how could Vaibhav Suryavanshi stay behind. 15 year old Vaibhav of Rajasthan Royals, the youngest centurion in IPL history, again played a stormy innings and scored a century in 36 balls. Lucknow Super Giants may have been out of the playoff race but Mitchell Marsh scored a century before that. Similarly, amidst the struggle, KL Rahul did this wonders for Delhi Capitals, while Cooper Connolly scored a brilliant century for Punjab Kings.
