Andrew Flintoff, Sydney Thunder: Former England cricket captain Andrew Flintoff is now going to be seen in the role of head coach in Australia's T20 league BBL. BBL franchise Sydney Thunder is soon going to announce him as their coach. After the separation of Trevor Bayliss, Sydney Thunder was looking for a new coach for the next season of Big Bash, which may now seem to end with Flintop. After retiring from cricket in September 2010, Andrew Flintoff remained in the news continuously for sometimes boxing, sometimes trying his luck in WWE, sometimes cricket coaching and sometimes his acting.
Andrew Flintoff was the coach of Kavya Maran's team Northern Superchargers in England's cricket league The Hundred. However, after fulfilling the responsibility of coaching for one season, he rejected the offer for the second season. Explaining the reason behind this on the Beard Before Wicket podcast, Flintoff said that he was not happy with the attitude of Kavya Maran and her team management.
According to him, he did not get the value he deserved.However, now there is news of his appointment as the coach of Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League, which ended its journey by finishing last in the 2025-26 season of the league.
