The defending champions thumped the three-time winners by 6 wickets, with Kohli reaching his 9th hundred in 58 balls, laced with 10 boundaries and 3 sixes.

Kohli was dismissed for two consecutive ducks in the previous games, and the veteran was under pressure before coming out to the middle to open the innings with Jacob Bethell. When he took a single to open his account, the right-handed batter celebrated the moment.
