With the help of half-centuries from Akshar and David Miller, Delhi Capitals kept their faint hopes of reaching the playoffs alive by defeating Punjab Kings by three wickets in this match.

Delhi Capitals captain Axar Patel has been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 match against Punjab Kings at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamshala.

It further said, Axar Patel was fined Rs 12 lakh as this was his team’s first offense of the season under Article 2.22 of the IPL Code of Conduct to slow over-rate. Delhi team is currently at seventh position in the points table.

Their next match will be against Rajasthan Royals in New Delhi on Sunday.
