Rahul Dravid has bought a team in the European T20 Premier League (ETPL) to be held in Ireland. Rahul Dravid has become the co-owner of Dublin Guardians. Dravid is part of an Indian company which has taken over the team. This team will be known as Dublin Guardians. Rahul Dravid has played 164 test matches and 344 ODIs for India. He was also the head coach of the team from 2021 to 2024. His joining this league is a big thing. Rahul Dravid is also very excited to play this new role. Dravid said, 'It is really wonderful to be involved in this. When I heard about it for the first time, I found it quite exciting. I have always loved the passion and energy for cricket in Europe. The passion with which players play the game is amazing. Ashwin became captain

Former Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin will captain the Guardians. He retired from Test cricket in December 2024 and has also retired from IPL.
