It may seem almost impossible for Lucknow Super Giants to reach the IPL 2026 playoffs, but before leaving, the team players are busy making some noise. One name in this is Josh English, who was out for half the season but as soon as he came, he created a stir. Opening for Lucknow, Inglis scored a half-century in just 17 balls against Chennai Super Kings and gave a stormy start to the team. With this, Lucknow again defeated Chennai after 3 years and completed the fastest 50 runs.

In the match played on May 10 at Chepauk Stadium, Lucknow batted first. Josh English returned in this match. English, who was out of the first 8 matches of this season, made a comeback in the 9th match but due to injury in the same match, he could not play the next match.
